Try making a trip down to Forlino at One Fullerton. Located on the second floor of the 1 Fullerton building and perched overlooking Marina Bay, with a grand view of the currently under-construction Sands Singapore Hotel & Casino.
You can’t help but just feel WOW when you step into the restaurant.
You are quickly chaperoned to a seat and asked if “it’s your first visit”. And upon confirmation, the captain will assure you that “I will make sure you are well taken care of”. Geez…
And such pampering was also observed by my handbag as she gots to sit on a little stool next to me. Aww… that was so sweet.
The Food? I was not particularly fascinated with the well known homemade focaccia which was made from the “chef’s mother’s secret recipe”. It was rather oily, hard and chewy – far from my impression of focaccia (which Senso incidentally serves good ones). But I must say the waiters did make sure you get a fresh one and quickly replenishes it if you finished yours.
The main courses were just splendid.
