Eat my own words

I finally know how eating my own words taste like. It well… tasted kindda GOOD!

Ha ha ha…

I’ve always scorned at people who carry LV bags coz these bags are just so common in pasar malams, and always in demand by people of certain  er-hem nationalities and also always carried by Indonesian tai-tais.

So there.

Ok, the co-incidental story is that I wanted a tough piece of everyday handbag which I can also bring along for travel. And LV’s monogram canvas with natural cowhide trim series seems to fit the bill pretty well, since it is scratch resistant and water resistant (very important in Singapore). But so far all LV designs seem a bit too old fashion and AUNTY.

Well, it just SO happens that at Sydney’s Louis Vuitton store, we spotted Palermo. It just looked ABSOLUTELY CHIC and CUTE ! It’s also versatile – comes with a short strap and a long sling. Aiyo! Just cannot keep my eyes off it. And and AND… tourists get close to 10% rebate under the TRS (Tourist Refund Scheme). And if it helps, Jennifer Love Hewitt has one too (bleh! I don’t have any hots for her.)

Ok so in the end I saved about $58+ buying this overseas.

There’s just something mesmerizing about the 4-storey LV Sydney store on Castlereagh street, you just can’t help but wanna leave empty handed. I guess that’s why the same store was attacked by thieves a couple of times!
